We’re getting close to the end of the season. We only have 3 tourstops left, maybe they’re still gonna add 1 more, but is not confirmed so far. So, the season is past half of it and unfortunately we lost one of the TOP 4 contenders to the title. Now that Kevin hurt his knee and unfortunately is gonna be out this year, it looks like it’s gonna be a fight between Andy Yates, Youri Zoon and me. We’re pretty close on the rankins and I think we have pretty much the same chances.

For those who don’t know, there’re only gonna score our best 7 results, and some PKRAs like Cabarete, and specially Morocco and Tenerife have almost half of the points, that’s way I didn’t attend those two. They’re basically not gonna count for the title and I rather spend that time kiting and SUPing at home and taking a bit the stress of competitions out!

The best results I have so far are 3rd in Leucate and Fuerte, 2nd in Thailand and 1st in Germany. Just have to keep it up for the rest of the events!

So now, time to get ready for the upcoming comps and focus on the title! My new airush gear is coming out soon, is looking sick and I think that’s gonna help me out on the fight!

Good winds.

It has been a busy and productive month so far. Looks like my plan of skipping Morocco PKRA was a good idea, because at the end of the day that competition is not gonna score for the world tour and managed to take my first victory of the year in Germany! I’m really stoked that my plan worked even better than I expected and it kept me motivated, hoping to win again here in Fuerteventura.
Hopefully the fact that I’m at my home country is gonna help!

This week has been crazy, jumping from one plane to another to do the J&B Masters of Kite that my new sponsor organized in Sant Pere Pescador, Girona. The event has been a great success and had a lot of fun with my really good mates Alvaro Onieva and Dani Alvarez. That event was also a qualifier for the Top3 local riders, who are gonna get a wildcard to the J&B Masters of Kite which is gonna be in Tarifa in September.

Looking forward to the PKRA tomorrow! The ranking is keeping tighter than tight with Kevin Langeree, Me, Andy Yates and Youri Zoon on TOP.

Looks like Spain is on a winning streak haha. After the victory on the world cup and Nadal on Wimbledon, I came to Germany with the spirit of the “red fury”!

It was a great day for me. I rode the way I wanted and landed some hard tricks like a KGB5 on the final. The conditions were pretty choppy, so before popping, I had to look for the place to land.

Luckily everything went right on that final and on the semifinal (against Kevin Langeree and Andy Yates respectively) and I took the win of the single elimination. I’m really happy for that.

So, the single elimination ended up like this:

1st, Alex Pastor

2nd, Andy Yates

3rd, Kevin Langeree
